Conviction following impeachment requires a 2/3rds majority of the Senate, one of the few things for which the Constitution actually states a supermajority requirement. ---

I am sure there are still prints extant – the latter was on Netflix for a while. She should be forced to sit through it, along with _Shoah_. ---

A 2/3rds majority of the Senate is 67 votes, not 60. Kinda hard to pick up 17 out of 13 Democratic Senate seats. Even if Sinema and Manchin went along, still not happening. ---

I find myself hoping that, if these scum actually pull off winning enough seats in both houses of Congress, they actually do try to pull this stupid stunt. Their first order of business will then be to try to remove President Biden physically from office. That’s not going to happen. ---

Republicans: The vote is illegitimate because Biden took the lead late in the process, and the votes weren’t all counted on Election Day. Also Republicans: Let’s get rid of machine counting, which will _guarantee_ that all the ballots won’t be counted on Election Day.
