That would require years of retraining and study to become Christians. So much easier to remain hypocritical hate-filled monsters.

The nearest doctor would be required to perform an emergency c-section. If the precious snowflake died, said doctor would be charged with manslaughter. Easy-peasy.

No, that’s not in the bill (I think). But it’s no more insane than the original concept.

Just make sure you shout “He’s going right at the fetus!” before you open fire, and you’re golden.

Legal, state-sanctioned murder. Even worse than that, because murderers aren’t murdered on sight; they still get due process. Is there any other law where punishment automatically happens when a crime is committed?

I’d say this has no chance of becoming law, but the past few years, especially the past few _months_, has me telling myself, ‘Never say never.’

I suspect that there are a lot of states that would allow you to kill a 9 year old girl if _she_ stole from you. Texas is exceptional in allowing you to kill a 9 year old girl if _someone else_ steals from you. Everything’s bigoted in Texas! Sorry! Everything’s _bigger_ in Texas. I get that confused sometimes.
