His last line there, “If you ask, ‘Should the Federal government take over defining marriage?’, my answer is ‘No’.”, makes it pretty clear to me: if a state wants to ban interracial marriage, he’s going to be okay with that. ---

I’ve been tempted to write a parody piece of Clarence’s Thomas’s legal opinion as to why interracial marriage should be illegal, but it would violate the community standards of the board, even in the Pit. The short clean version would be “We’re disgusting. If you saw us no way you would think _that_ should be legal”. ---
