Now, why is this in this thread? He gets up and starts bitching about homeless people, but making sure that he has to also bitch about indiginous Alaskans being called Natives and not “Indians”, so of course he refers to them as _Indians_ now. Then he bitches some more about the Native Alaskans being homeless in Anchorage. HIs proposed solution, though, is right down there with the worst of the racists today: > I think it would be better if we let these Natives go out wherever in the villages where their relatives are,” he said. “They could pick berries, they could fish, they could hunt, be with their own kind, sleep in the trees. “Sleep in the trees.” Yep, this jackass just called Native Alaskans monkeys. And now here’s why I put this bit of news in this thread. In [this Yahoo report](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/alaska-lawmakers-erupt-old-white-213131211.html), there’s this nifty bit: > Assemblywoman Jamie Allard, a Republican, said that she didn’t think it was appropriate for there to be a debate but “understood” where the speaker was coming from. You understand it’s acceptable to have the Native Alaskans shipped off, like livestock, to sanctuary cities? Nope, you bigot. You don’t understand that. You fucking agree with it; otherwise, you would have explicitly and unambiguously called him out on that. There was a funny bit here, though.
