Wow. Well, I guess he kind of got what he wanted there. Isn’t he trying to get his savior’s name (no, not Trump; the one from 2,000 years ago) on people’s lips. I just watched this to the end and all I could say was, “Jesus Christ!” ---

Listening to that whole, “You hate Jesus!” rant, I’m reminded on an old line, “It’s not the band I hate, it’s their fans…” If I were to meet the Biblical Jesus, I suspect we’d get along quite well. It’s all these fake-ass “Christians” that annoy me. ---

I understand republicans are going to vote republican (and the same for dems), I just wish they’d pick better republicans to vote for. A handful of old leaves would be better than MTG. Look, I get ‘owning the libs’ but there must be someone out there that can own us without resorting to accusations of Jewish Space Lasers. Hopefully, at some point, the people voting for the likes of her will realize that they won but now they’ve got a moron in charge. Like voting to replace the school principal with a dog to prove a point, but now the place is in shambles because the dog doesn’t know he needs to hire a plumber to fix the broken lateral and the basement is filling with sewerage. I saw this clip (or rather heard someone else watching it) of MTG being given a great opportunity to clear her name. Her opponent essentially gave her the chance to pick anything she wanted that she’s been accused of lying about and explain herself. Instead she doubled down and launched right into the “the dems are offended because I’m speaking the truth” shtick. I like that as she starts to reply he says ‘you always do this’. Note: I didn’t watch the entire thing thing and I don’t know anything about the guy commentating, it was just the first clip of the debate I could find. I wish they wouldn’t label these encounters/confrontations “debates.” Debates are an actual Thing and name-calling, verbal punch fests aren’t debates. That goes for the so-called “Presidential Debates,” too. ---
