As an aside … James Woods sucks as an actor. He only ever plays himself. Its just lucky for him he’s a natural asshole. ---

As you can see from the Simpsons clip above he became somewhat of a character meme/self-parody in pop culture. But he has always been a bit of a jerk and probably a lowlife. I pulled up her Twitter page and began hate-tweeting several of her things, and they’re _all awful,_ but she has apparently dirty-deleted this. Still, I brought her account to Elon Musk’s attention and told him if he doesn’t do anything about it, he’s supporting stochastic terrorism. I’m sure he’ll toss that opinion in the discard pile. ---

Likewise, if you wanted to present the lord of the underworld as a _‘businessman ready to chuckle at his own wisecracks’_ type who, as if on a whim, will slap together a salesman-patter offer that maybe seems too good to be true — and who doesn’t seem to have the time or the inclination to quibble over details, lot of irons in the fire, heh, figuratively and literally, how about that, anyway, look, it’s your loss and not mine if you miss out on this amazing deal — then Woods was the guy to cast as Hades for **Hercules** , and full stop. ---

I enjoyed his performance in John Carpenter’s _Vampires_ but how much of that was from it being a John Carpenter movie and having low expectations from a B movie is unknown. ---

Following that story a bit on RW Twitter, and the consensus there is that since the masked Proud Boys are looking like they are in shape, they are really FBI agents (hence the masks, so they don’t get made). Perhaps they are really the local police, and wearing the mask for the same reason? Note that I don’t believe that, but it makes at least as much sense as the “it’s the feds” stuff. ---
