If I was a taxpayer in Texas, I would be furious that my tax money is being wasted on stupid shit like this. If I was someone in charge in DC, I would take all these migrants out shopping for food and clothes, put them up in a nice hotel, and send Abbott the bill ---

That really seems like kidnapping, since deceit was almost certainly necessary to get the migrants to board the bus. And crossing state lines should mean the FBI can get involved. ---

The blurb saus 7000, you mention 14000, but whatever it is, you know how the cops charge people with as many counts of a crime as people that were affected by the crime? I think whoever did that should be charged, and pay the penalty for, 7 or 14 thousand counts of the applicable charge.
