The reason they’ll tell you is that they don’t want their kids to “feel bad” because they’re white. What they really want is to be able to indoctrinate their kids with racism without outside influence. You have to be carefully taught. ---

I haven’t read Hamster Princess and Danny Dragonbreath, but I believe I own and have read everything else, including both Digger kickstarters. She is bloody AWESOME. ---

I went for the ultra package this time, so nothing’s been mailed yet. I believe we’re still waiting on the clamshell covers. I shouldn’t have bought it, but, damnit, I also couldn’t resist. I got the hardback, paperback, backer t-shirt, and enamel pins on the first kickstarter. ---

I got the Kindle version as well as the hardcover, but that doesn’t display well on my Fire, and the publisher has acknowledged the problem and is seeking a fix for it, last I heard. ---

If little Suzie comes home and asks “why are there no black people in our neighborhood,” well now the teacher is implicating the parents through their kids in a way that many are not comfortable with. And, to be honest, I get it. Some 20-something teacher who thinks they know about the world is encouraging my kids to judge me? Where do they get off!?!? A lot of “anti-woke” emotion is an unexamined expression of “I don’t want to change, and I reject the idea that a bunch of academics and activists know me better than I know myself.” ---
