Wait… If you draw social security, you’re then not allowed to work? Is there some rule like this? (not a real question) In addition, a simple google search tells me that someone can defer SS payments to age 70 if they so choose. I assume that the Congressman is an idiot. Default assumption. ---

But I’d guess he’s also a man hoping to be greatly and munificently rewarded by a billionaire class who’d very much like the government to cut the amount of money going to seniors, and funnel that money, instead, into the pockets of said billionaires. ---

“Politico reported that somebody had to step in to de-escalate the argument because it looked like they were about to get physical.” Man, someone needs to stop stopping these two from going after each other. An actual physical fight might actually have an effect on their popularity. Well, at least for the one that loses, anyways. ---
