Why do I have the feeling that we need to explain to Jefferson Van Drew that whales are not fish and their existence/nonexistence has little impact on the fishing industry? ---

That depends on whether you’re one of those people who loves to say that birds are dinosaurs. By that same criteria, whales are, indeed, fish, as are all other tetrapods. ---
