Maybe that’s the point. If lawmakers restrict “them” to foodstuffs that are disgusting, they won’t eat and starve to death. Money saved, which can go to better uses (_i.e._, the lawmakers’ buddies). ---

The unconstitutional part of the new law is not in the lack of a license, but in the requirement that only heterosexual marriage can be solemnized in the state. ---

I’m no expert on Tennessee demographics, but that looks like an insignificant minority comprised of ne’er-do-wells that make up a paltry greater than 50% of the population. No need to care for a disease that is only really being transmitted amongst such a timy sliver. ---
