Like so many of us, Bill Barr has to lie to himself to be able to look himself in the mirror every morning. Unlike most of us, the lies he tells himself are extremely damaging to our democracy. Bill Barr’s thought process is, “Hey, we sealed control of the Supreme Court for a generation and kept him from doing too much damage. We’ll do that again if he’s elected president again.” Which is actually two lies and a truth, if you’re keeping track at home. ---

An ex Rand Paul aide, who is also married to his granddaughter, has been indicted on funneling Russian money into the 2016 election. He had already received a pardon from The Former Guy for other crimes he had been charged with.
