I keep trying to link local sources about this but sadly, everything is paywalled. Your link is good, but mine had the comment sections. The outrage is intense. Maricopa county taxpayers are going to be paying for the water as well as paying Scottsdale to treat the water so that the Rio Verde freemen and women can have cheap water instead of paying their own share. The thing that is really pissing everyone off is that Rio Verde has not just one, but TWO very nice golf courses with green grass and all the things golf courses traditionally come with including pretty lakes. There ain’t nobody out this way happy about this…well, except the ones who are getting a quarter of the state to pay their water bills. Assholes. ---

Her problem with it is that it happened on President’s Day? Really? Biden is, as we speak, a President. It would be like a mother, getting in her car and driving across town to pick up her kids on Mother’s Day. It’s what a mother would do. And this is what a President would do. A good one, anyway. Not a Trump.
