Get them printed on half-mil polyethylene, using really strong glue on the back – this was a trick used by places like Trees of Mystery, in which the lot workers would slap these on any non-moving car and they were nigh impossible to remove. Putting Cawthorn to one side, as I’m sure many of us would like to do: my ignorance was fought today as I’d never before heard of Trees of Mystery. If you can’t picture that distance [Boston to Baltimore], it’s 4,208 furlongs if you’re more familiar with that frame of reference. It’s also 379,214 smoots if that’s how you hang. ---
