How about this, we take all the unemployed MAGAts who want us to arm the schools, we give them guns, and make them sit in each and every school room in the country. They’ll likely never actually stop a shooting, but maybe if we make them sit through Grade 3 a few more times, some of it will sink in, finally. ---

Here’s the reaction of the GOP: ““It’s not a gun issue,” Winter ( a Republican) said. “For us, it’s a self-preservation issue, it’s a constitutional issue, it’s the protection of our lives. And I’m scared. We hope there’s no ill-intended consequences from this. … But I’m scared there will be.” 🙄 One of their objections was that people might not seek help if they were afraid their guns would be taken away. Oh noes. ---

I heard a woman on Rachel Maddow last night (Hockley? who had a son who died at Sandy Hook) who phrased it well. We have more guns per capita by a wiiiiide margin over other industrialized nations, and our deaths from shootings is 26 times greater than the next highest country. How in the hell is more guns making us safer??? ---
