Shit, you are correct. I meant Busch Light which is the poor man’s version of Bud. They both come in 30 packs and can be found littering the region, but I do think Keystone leads the crap beer race around here. ---

I’m still amazed at that ad campaign Budweiser had a few years ago, about how their competitors used corn. The obvious answer from their competitors was a campaign about how American corn, and hence corn-based beer, is, compared to Budweiser’s rice. ---

You can’t win around here. Can you really taste the difference between American Style Lagers that have corn vs rice? Can you do a blind taste test of Busch, Bud, Coors, Rainier, and Pabst and name the adjunct? I’ve drank my share of yellow beer, and prefer some over the others, but I don’t know if I can tell that it is corn vs rice. Not sure if there is a list of them all, but maybe if I could locate that I could say “yeah, I’m totally a corn beer kinda guy”. ---

Those are the big 2. I’d have to refamiliarize myself with Pabst and Rainier, and even then I’d probably get them wrong. But between Bud and Busch? No sweat. ---

Domestic beer, feh. Harp Lager forever soured me on drinking almost _anything_ on this side of the Atlantic. Old joke: An Irish man visits America for a vacation. He naturally tries several American beers and is _appalled_ by them. Each and every one. When he returns home, he brings a bottle back with him and sends it to a local laboratory to find out what ingredients could possibly make the beer taste so bad. A week later, he gets a letter from the lab. It says, “Congratulations: your horse is pregnant.” ---
