Ducey ignored Trump even before the indictment. He must have known or somehow felt that The Law was not being followed. It’s really fucking weird and rare. ---

Trump has a bizarre fixation on his phone calls. Did you ever hear the recording Michael Cohen made of his meeting with Trump regarding the Stormy Daniels payoff? Cohen walks in while Trump is on the phone. When Trump hangs up, Cohen effusively praises him for the great phone call. I found it hysterically funny, almost as funny as the time Trump praised attorney Ryan Germany for having a great last name - that one happened during the perfect Georgia phone call. ---

IANAL, and I know little about affirmative action law or the SCOTUS decision, but I thought that the decision meant that colleges can no longer favor certain races to achieve a diverse student body. But does that mean they _have_ to prefer white men, which would seem to be what Miller implies and obviously wants? Wouldn’t a private college be free to admit whoever it wants, on whatever criteria it chooses? (Obviously, state schools have to be more transparent in their admissions process.) ---

I would truly love to see a few private law schools openly admit **only** Black, Latino and female students in this fall’s class, just to watch head’s explode. ---

That sounds like a great idea! Other businesses such as restaurants and hotels should follow suit in solidarity! After all, some businesses will surely be open to everybody, and those separated facilities are _just as good_ as the ones who only serve certain segments of society.
