Since the link I posted yesterday is from Raw Story, which typically posts only abbreviated stories, I googled for more. Many news outlets have picked up on the story. Several say 28 books. One says 42 books. Several others say 54 books are banned. I guess this must be an on-going process. Nobody from the Florida DOE is saying exactly why these books are banned. They say it’s because of Critical Race Theory, or Common Core, or SEL, but nobody has pointed out any specific items in any of the books. It’s a mystery. Notice also Florida’s standard for textbooks is called B.E.S.T., which stands for Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking. The very phrase smacks of thought-policing. ---

Triggering their sheeple who see CRT or Common Core and don’t have a clue what they mean [CRT used to be cathode ray tube - but whatever].
