Indeed, some members of Congress do participate in secret Luchadore masked matches, purely for sport. Perhaps that’s why he can’t “officially” mention the other two. ---

It sounds like it happened after they finished talking and McCarthy walked past Burchett. It could be that he swung his elbow back as he was walking and accidentally nudged Burchett in the lower back, or it could be that he did so deliberately jabbed him as he passed. Who knows? Who cares, they are both doofuses (doofi?) ---

I remember it like stalactites and stalagmites. With slander, it’s SPOKEN and libel, it’s IN A LETTER or written. (Stalactites are down from the ceiling (hence the C) and stalagmites come UP from the ground (hence the G). Yeah, I know, dumb as fuck, but it helps ME. 😛 ---

As a lawyer, I can confidently say that both libel and slander fall under the tort of _defamation_. Which is where we don’t have to care; libel or slander; all that matters is that one party defames the other. As long as that happens, we have a cause of action. ---
