However the Speech and Debate part of the US Constitution rears its head. “They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place. Does waving around porn of your political opponents’ family members count as “speech and debate”? That sounds like the sort of question a court should rule on at her trial. Which would mean that she (or her lawyers) would have the task of arguing that it is. ---

He supposedly paid for a woman to fly to DC? For sex. Violating the Mann act; These pictures she was waving around are supposed to have been evidence of that violation. IMHO, she waved them around for the same reason she does everything: attention and controversy. Those are really the only things the House wackos care about. Policy? Legislating? Yawn. “Let’s go show nudie pics of people we don’t like and set the capitol building on fire!!! Yay!!” Twitter, facebook likes, mugs on FOX. ---
