I’m sure that his rebuttable would be that we didn’t annex the territory we took in the Mexican American and Spanish American war, we “liberated” it. All those people living there really wanted to be Americans. As for the Indian wars that was all our territory to begin with, the Indians weren’t really using it, [they didn’t even have a flag](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTduy7Qkvk8). . ---
