Worth noting about Nikki Haley’s ‘slavery, what slavery?’ answer to the question “What was the cause of the United States Civil War?” is that her answer, ignoring the existence of slavery as it does, basically positions the South as the Noble Defender of Liberty against the Evil, Anti-Liberty North. I saw a CNN report about Nikki Haley’s answer to the question about the Civil War. She was trying to blame the person who asked the question, saying that he was a Democratic Party plant. CNN ran a clip of Chris Christie pointing out that doesn’t matter as much as her crappy answer. ---
