The context here is that with Swift coming from pseudo-country roots and her keeping quiet about politics until 2018, the deplorables had a fantasy that maybe she was their secret MAGA princess. Their hopes were dashed when it turned out she’s a decent human being who doesn’t approve of misogyny and LGBT rights being trampled. Hell hath no fury like a mediocre White man scorned by an intelligent and successful woman. ---

He’s also doing the birther thing with Haley. Suggesting she isn’t eligible because her parents weren’t citizens when she was born. But she was born in South Carolina and is therefore a natural born citizen and with respect to that, eligible to be president. I thought she was pretty far behind, but she’s clearly presenting a threat to him. ---
