I have a friend that’s bought struggling businesses, fixed them and eventually sold them for a profit based on that theory. He owned a pallet company for a few years, then a very large commercial cleaning business for about a decade and now he’s on to something new. However, I’m not sure he would say any of the skills he’s acquired over the years would mean he could run a school a public district. ---

The same thing was said about Trump before he was elected in 2016. Republicans seem to have this issue with understanding that not everything is a business and can’t be ran that way. ---

I know this is wishful thinking, but in my more optimistic moments I really really wish there were a stronger, politically motivated, liberal Christian block that would get out there to decry, and fight back against Trump’s co-opting of their symbols and messaging. I know there have to be Christians out there that are pissed off about this but for whatever reason they won’t speak up. ---
