There is a banner hanging from a privacy fence on a highway t near us. It says, “Let’s go Brandon. Biden and Harris not my President!” I’d love to post a big sign on the shoulder that says, “Dark Brandon Rises!” What a bunch of idiots. The banner is 6 feet tall and probably 20 ft. long. Very classy looking. Edited for brevity and clarity. ---

I do have coworkers that make the drive instead, and put it in a freezer. We get them for when company comes over too. I’ve been told twice that it was the best steak they have every had in their entire life. I won’t even look at a steak in a grocery store. ---

Any of those projects that get stalled/delayed/halted or completed but not maintained are going to be used as examples of his failures. I feel comfortable guessing that republicans will take every opportunity they have to defund or otherwise slow down work on these projects, specifically so they can point at a highway with more potholes than road or a water utility in need of multi million dollar overhaul, then point to his name on that sign. I hope part of his infrastructure bill makes work on these projects, as well as on going maintenance both well funded and hard to stop. While this could also backfire, it would be fun if the law included a section that requires a new sign to be put up in it’s place stating “this project defunded by” with the name of the politician that did it. A GOP politician might prefer to find a way to keep putting money into the project rather than having to put up a sign explaining that the shitty condition of the road or the broken water mains are their fault because they felt their resources would be better put towards keeping drag queens out of bars or something. Even the most redneck asshole would probably realize he’d rather be able to drive down the road without wrecking his lifted truck on a pothole than worry about a drag queen doing a Gloria Gaynor cover in a bar 3 towns over. ---
