I remember vaguely that he wasn’t “officially” a candidate, **but he never stopped campaigning!** He kept his rallies up throughout his administration, and kept them up after he was out of office. What were those rallies if not campaign stops? No one believed he wouldn’t run. ---

And, lets be honest, even if he wasn’t raising money (lets say he broke even), he’d still do rallies just for the attention. If there’s one thing he likes, it’s crowds of people watching him talk. ---

Because the profits of those factory farms are at stake. If lab-grown meat becomes competitive with or even (horrors!) cheaper than farmed meat, those profitable cattle operations will suddenly be less so. (I almost typed their profits are at “steak.” Freudian slip!) ---

Yeah, that’s it all right. It’s not enough that they don’t read a book they find offensive, or they don’t marry a gender that angers their god, etc., nobody else is permitted to either. I guess because they might catch cooties or something from the unclean. ---
