Idaho politics is off-the-rails nutty. In my area, local and state politics have been taken over by extreme far-right folks (ban abortions, burn books, shut down schools and colleges, etc). Heather Scott is nutty. It’s pretty sad that in this story, she almost comes across as the adult in the room. But don’t believe it…she’s horrible. Sad to see this inbred family infighting. On Saturday I got an ad for one of those QOP push-polls that asks you a loaded question like “Do you support Biden’s radical Democrat Party agenda?” and is actually just trying to get your info so they can fundraise off of you. I decided to take the poll, put in all the answers they WEREN’T trying to get me to give, and signed my name as “Hannibal Lecter” in honor of Loser Donald’s late great friend. Today I got my first fundraising email from Ted Cruz asking “Hannibal” to pitch in for his reelection. ---

On a party line vote, Republicans in the North Carolina State Senate passed a bill that would make it illegal to wear masks in public even for health and safety reasons. If this bill passes, chemo patients could literally be arrested for wearing a surgical mask outside their house.
