I imagine that the standard should be similar to the way many public discussion sites are moderated (sometimes moderation may not occur in absence of a complaint). If you use disgraceful language among _your_ people, and nobody is bothered by it, fine, WFC, but if you use it on uncertain ground (i.e., consider it normal, perhaps even proper), you should face the consequences. ---
