I have to say, that photo-op in the Capitol the other day, with shit-eating-grinning Trump and his effing congressional enablers, has been bothering me. Here’s a guy that one Republican leader said was “Morally responsible” for the January 6 riot, where several Americans died and hundreds more have had their lives upended by his lies, standing there surrounded by adoring Republican congresscritters, blathering about becoming President again. There is no bottom, it seems. ---

The individual in question may be stuck between a rock and a hard place — maybe his status is such that he _can’t_ easily transition from an ever-renewing work visa to a permanent residence. ---

Further development: The church didn’t actually have any African-Americans in the congregation at all. When the right-wing media called it a “black church”, they were just referring to the paint job on the walls. ---
