That is a platform worthy of the Trumpites. Lots of bluster and blather and things they can sort of hope Mr. Combover can remember well enough to say on stage, but really allowing for the audience to imagine just about _anything_. ---

It actually strikes me as a potentially smart move, letting the questions about Biden dominate the headlines. Which of course must mean that someone is actually drugging or physically restraining Trump to keep him from crowing or otherwise saying stupid and distracting things. ---

The Trump campaign has been downright paralyzed for over a week now. They’re afraid that if they keep adding to the “Biden has dementia” bandwagon it might either strengthen his resolve (which would be bad for them) or actually drop out (which would throw the election into chaos). Add to that the fact that Convict Donald is mad at Project 2025 for getting attention that he believes he deserves, so the campaign is now denouncing it while simultaneously agreeing with their platform, and I’m not sure they have any idea what move to make. In my entire life I’ve never seen a presidential election campaign go so completely off the rails as this one has. ---
