There are also plenty of women out there who want children but need help getting pregnant. Vance is also against IVF, I presume, since his party is. He’s a little punk. ---

I caught a bit of Laura Ingraham’s show where she was talking about the Secret Service hearings today. She said this was her favorite part: “Ma’am, you are a DEI horror story,” said by Tim Burchett, asshole horror story from Tennessee. If I’m not mistaken, Laura, you are the only female host on Fox Primetime. Does that not make _you_ a DEI hire? There is bipartisan consensus that the Secret Service fucked up royally. The difference is that Democrats are calling for the director’s resignation for that reason. The Republicans are calling for her resignation because she is a woman. (OK, they would have called for a man to resign but her being a woman is making this extra special for them.) I think there are probably some Republican women who don’t like being told that women aren’t good enough for some jobs. I hope they are listening. Keep up the good work, stupid Republicans. ---

I haven’t gone looking (and Google image search doesn’t work on people anymore) but I wonder if anyone found the account it was meant to be posted to. Granted, that account’s probably been shut down, but it would be interesting to see A)what else they posted B)Who follows them C)Who retweets them? I’d find it unsurprising if everything else ‘she’ posted was similar in nature and there’s probably a group of white, RW politicians loyally retweeting everything. Come to think of it, instead of saying ‘sorry I left my account logged in on some one elses computer’ (who?) he’d almost have been better off saying ‘I was trying to retweet this and copy/pasted it by accident’. That would have made it easier to maintain the ‘integrity’ of the fake account. ---

Apparently this stupid brain dead Heritage Foundation muppet as well as speaker Johnson think that it’s appropriate for the Republican party to demand that THEY chose the Democrat Party nominee for president, even before the (D) convention. I’m confident Johnson knows this is a fucking stupid idea, and will proceed with frivolous lawsuits merely to tie things up and throw a wrench in the gears of democracy. Which is the (R) policy now. Fuck up government as much as possible to show that government does not work. I hope any lawyer that signs onto this garbage is slapped down hard and/or disbarred. Unfortunately, the (R) Politicisation of the court system has led to a worry that a lower court might just go along with this and issue an injunction, and the Supreme Court would just delay, delay delay (while they accept more “legal gratuities” from corporations/billionaires) [GOP threatened to sue over November ballot if Biden dropped out.
