By going on about how it was not explicitly said, and therefore people are “lying” about it, you give a veneer of acceptability to the scummy tactic of the dog whistle. Call it for what it is. Don’t excuse it because they were not explicit. It’s a tactic. And you’re apparently willing to accept the tactic. No. Just call it for what it is. ---

That doesn’t mean I need to nod and agree if someone is misconstruing something he or anyone else over there is saying or doing, As I said, what they are actually doing is bad enough, just like what MAGA and Vance are doing is bad enough. ---

To sum up: Watters did not mean that the JCoS would _literally_ sexually assault Harris. Watters meant that they would _metaphorically_ sexually assault Harris. And the reason that he deliberately chose and used - twice - this metaphor is because he is a spectacularly terrible person. We all in agreement now? ---
