I don’t know how the election will turn out, and I don’t know what Trump and his buddies have up their sleeves. But at least to me, a lot, if not most, of what I see coming from their side sure seems to _resemble_ panicked, desperate flailing. ---

The Republicans must be getting desperate to get the North Carolina vote. For the past two weeks almost every other day I get a postcard from them letting me know that Trump will be the savior of our country and that if Harris is elected we will be flooded with criminals, the economy will go to hell, and abortions will be mandatory. I’m joking about the last (I think) because on the way to my front door from the mailbox I tear them up and toss them into the outside recycling bin so my house will not be sullied by their presence. ---

I can’t remember what job it was for, but years ago, I had to do one of those online job applications which included the poor sods applying for the job using rather cruddy terminals on site to complete the application. The instructions _specifically_ stated to only use _relevant_ portions of the job history. Otherwise, the lot of us would _still_ be there right now doing the application.
