The only possible conclusion is that Walz pushed this tax through the Minnesota legislature specifically to prevent $2 Trump bills from being sold there. Nothing else makes sense. ---

I mean, maybe the Log Cabin folks think Vance is hot, but in general I don’t think he’s popular among LGTBQ+ people. In fact, after a (Canadian) Supreme Court decision a few years after that episode, Canada is legally prohibited from extraditing if the accused faces the death penalty. So if you are going to commit murder and run to Canada, make sure to do it somewhere where the death penalty applies, and make it particularly heinous. ---

This may be a tourism ad - “Kill your spouse in Missouri - it’s less than a 9 hour drive to Canada!” I did a quick Google search to get the drive time - the #1 response was 45 hours (which seemed high). From the map, it appears that since I didn’t specify where in Canada, it would use the geographical center of the country. This puts me just on the edge of the Northwest Territory, close to Fort Smith Highway, so I guess it is drivable. ---

That is probably at the speed limit (who drives the speed limit?), c. 700 miles. So, there would probably be at least one fuel stop (very unwise for EV drivers). The trick, of course, is convincing the spouse of a good reason to go to St Joe. ---
