If they hadn’t gone back to 1900 and made Hawaii a territory, the Pacific Fleet wouldn’t have been at Pearl Harbor and the Germans wouldn’t have attacked. Then the US wouldn’t have been drawn into WWI. ---

It is technically correct that if the Pacific Fleet were not stationed at Pearl Harbor, there would be no way for the Germans to attack it there. And that is the best kind of correct. ---
