At the risk of invoking the slippery slope fallacy, I suspect that if one state successfully seceded, that would be the end of the US as we know it, as other states would start doing the same. ---

They would be American territories within the Nation of Texas. Those Texas foreigners can work there for slave wages. Maybe in time they could earn American citizenship and make their way out of the Texan slums. ---

This day and age I believe it. A good number of secession attempts worldwide are supported by Russia, including some in Texas. If this is one of them and it succeeds, they’ll lather rinse repeat. Not necessarily even a bad idea for the state citizens, for liberal states close to a coast or Canada (which is all of them) in the face of a far-worse second Trump term. But indisputably good for Russia. ---

I think a lot of the right wing shit stirring in the last decade or so is due to ГРУ ( Russian Foreign Intelligence Services) shenanigans. ---

The idea of the Pacific Northwest and California becoming the Southwest Territories has some appeal. Have to do something about all those guns first though. We still have limits at the moment. ---

The obvious “These might not be Republicans” caveat applies here, but c’mon. Anyway, it’s a list of computer/console games that have been reviewed as to whether they have any “woke” content. Like people in wheelchairs or muscular women, or gay relationships in Ancient Greece (two real examples). I might post this in the Games forum too unless it’s too political or something. The list is probably old at this point, but still, it’s just exhausting. Possible, but I don’t think most states have this burning urge to exit, and that would be the unit that makes the most sense what with having an actual government already, national guard, etc. Texas also has the quirk of having existed as an independent nation prior to joining. I say let Texas go and see how it (doesn’t) work. But it has to be a real break, same rules apply to crossing that border as any other international border in North America and so forth. Sure, there are a number of secessionist movements in the US but most of them don’t have sufficient support in the areas in which they exist to pull it off. > [@enipla](#): > > Hah.
