It explicitly in there, to eliminate that Department. In black and white. Granted, it’s 900+ pages of hard road, but it should be mandatory reading at this point. ---

“The Republican Party platform of 1980 called for the elimination of the Department of Education created under Carter, and President Ronald Reagan promised during the 1980 presidential election to eliminate it as a cabinet post, but he was not able to do so with a Democratic House of Representatives.” Also, “The United States Department of Education is a cabinet-level department of the United States government. It began operating on May 4, 1980.” They were against it as soon as it existed. ---

Yup. They can define it as anything they want. Send your girl to school, and she comes back a boy. ‘THAT’S WOKE’ No, that’s moronic. I had a dinner party ~ 6 weeks ago, and one woman kept going on and on complaining about ‘woke’. Neither my Wife or I could get a word in edgewise. My other guests where rather stunned, as they are good decent people. The ‘Odd Couple’ left first. The woman of the good couple said “That was fucking weird”. She is a special ed teacher, and can recognize odd behavior. So, I have brain washed ‘neighbors’. ---

They’re ok with respect…but of the sort you give your servant or a pet, not to equals. What it really means is ‘those’ people getting uppity and expecting to be treated as good as they are. ---

As I may have said before, I consider ‘woke’ to be an up(?)date of Nixon’s ‘Silent Majority.’ Just as the SM (being, by definition, silent) could be made to say whatever Nixon wanted it to say, ‘woke’ evokes an image of an individual’s particular boogeyman. Provided, of course, that said individual has been bludgeoned into a state of perpetual, unformed dread — something the US media have been harping on for the last four years. ---

Woke is weaponized PC. PC was always treated as just something of an annoyance. Those stupid snowflake liberals who can’t take a joke are ruining anything fun. Woke is a threat to everything you know, forcibly changing the sex of your kids, and making being white or Christian illegal. ---
