Jeez, I thought the halftime show was decent, even though I’m not a fan of the genre. Lamar had dancers wearing the US flag colors doing some cool moves like making ripples in the wind. I had no idea about his feud with Drake and don’t recall hearing anything combustible in the lyrics. The words sounded stream-of-conscious to me with no actual point being made. It’s like when Beyonce had a scene in her halftime show of dancers dressed in police costumes for about 2 seconds and cops nationwide were pissed (at least the headlines made it look like that). The extreme reactions make the headlines. ---
