I thought it was a style from the fifties (?). If you watch films from that period you will see men wearing trousers with that sort of cut/style. Heck, Roger Moore used to wear the style as James Bond in the 70s, probably because he was a young man in the 50s. ---

Doubtful if I’ll get more than a canned response. Y’know, I sent him (and our other senator, who is a complete Moran) emails back during Trump’s impeachment trial urging them to vote to convict. I got a form letter back from Marshall saying that he wanted the impeachment trial to be over quickly so that they could get on with governing. (Psst, the trial will be over just as fast whether you vote to convict or not.) I’ve always wanted to send his response back to him and ask him how much legislation they’ve gotten passed since the impeachment trial concluded. ---
