He seems to think Trump’s power comes from his shoe lifts and the bizarre way it makes him stand. I’m curious if Desantis was dressing/standing like this before Trump was around. ---

First of all, I would expect that a majority of MAGAts have no clue what sanctimonoius means, and even if they did, they’d probably be okay with it since it reminds them of their beloved reverend or pastor. I suppose it’s also possible that because sanctimonious sorta sounds like ‘sanctity’ to them, as in the ‘sanctity of all human life’, it must mean that Ron, like President Trump, is a warrior of the lord. ---

Yeah he was key in creating the “oppose everything, they are not your friends, there is no such thing as win/win, the goal is to undo the last 60 years” mentality. Now he’s realizing that as of today HE is seen as part of the past that needs undoing. The position should be simple — Republican Conference: _ **crush** _ the Gaetzers. Neuter them. _Then_ ask across the aisle for help. But people like you, Newt, made it impossible to do that by making it so whoever’s most reactionary wins the primary. Remember? ---
