Hell, I _live_ there; I really expected better from the folks around here, lots of professional and military people from all over the country have moved here for work, wouldn’t call it ‘progressive’ but I expected better than a ‘Rural-South’ knee-jerk. Hopefully it was a FUBAR by some clerk and will be corrected instead of doubling-down. But geez, trying to defend this place sometimes… ---

I think the legacy of a dysfunctional family is not so much that you think (intellectually) that it’s normal (at least not past early childhood), but that your ingrained experience of relating to close family in a dysfunctional way means that it _feels_ normal in the sense of “what I expect emotionally”, and it makes it challenging to learn to relate to people in a healthy way. ---

I bet our intrepid candidate will never admit that his claims were wrong (or a lies.) In fact, if he follows the republican script he’ll insist it was all true, call the cops liars, and possibly dox the woman who hit his vehicle, which if I’m not mistaken was not totaled. ---
