But it’s _huge_. The sole raison d’etre of a derringer is compactness, and this thing weighs more than a Glock 17. Plus, it uses an obsolete cartridge - the .45 Long Colt - for absolutely no reason. ---

It’s breach open with the hinge at the top back. Think about a double- barrel shotgun. They breach open, but the hinge is under the barrel and in front of the trigger mechanism. The barrels open, the empty shells eject back. This pistol you open and pull the barrels toward you and presumably dump the empty cartridges in front of you, then slide two postol rounds into the barrels from underneath back toward your face. Or handle the gun in some clumsy way. The part you are trying to put the bullets into you can’t see the holes and that part is floppy if you are holding the handle. The biggest problem I see is that no self- respecting Trump supporter is going to buy a gun with only two shots. ---
