I don’t know about average, but that’s not an unusual quantity of milk for an 8th grader, at least spread out. Between breakfast, lunch, and breaks, I was probably doing roughly that quantity at that age. Having a full quart during a single meal is a bit much, though. I knew some fellows in college who did that, but they were pretty big - like 6’ 6” and physically active. But a quart of any beverage during a single meal is a bit much for most folks. ---

My daughter is not average though. I’m sure she drinks a lot more than the average kid. You might call her the exception that proves the rule. ---

Per 8 oz. Yep, skim has (very) slightly more than whole because less of that 8 oz. volume is taken up by fat. ---
