Being naturally bigoted idiots, no doubt that that tolerance faded somewhat once we had the atomic bomb. Now, in these slightly more enlightened times, our far left just hate all whites, and our (tiny) far right can’t afford to alienate anyone with anything like a “fair” complexion, because they are so vastly outnumbered by the rest of us - as the local saying is, a “rainbow nation”. “The Jews” as a topic hardly ever comes up, aside, perhaps, when I want a challah - or when my very non-practicing Jewish friend amiably gave me shit for baking challah during Passover. The Rhodesian Government also was somewhat cosy with Israel, but that was purely a commercial relationship, money for guns. I don’t think I know a Zimbabwean Jew, and I cant recall any synagogues there. But my dad did have an Uzi as part of his state issued military equipment. ---

Florida has criminal laws against felons owning guns. I’m pretty sure this is standard throughout the country.. Earlier this week, the Florida Attorney General announced to an appeals court that it takes the position that the 2nd amendment to the U.S. Constitution limits this to felons that are deemed “dangerous”.
