This whole “theater kid” insult is idiotic but remember that the sainted Ronald Reagan was in drama club _and_ the football team in high school. Would people call him a “theater kid”? ---

Not sure why you take offense. There are chess kids, football kids, math kids, and yes, theater kids. My own son is a bit of a polymath, so I group him in my own space, “nerd kids” - although he is more intelligent than I am. (Not that a football player can’t also play chess or vice versa) ---

He said, “We need a final solution for theater kids in politics.” Later, he said, “We really do need to purge theater kids from any role that puts them anywhere near levers of power.
