It’s a decent bet that ChatGPT is actually a far better lawyer than the best trump appointee who has a JD & a law license from someplace. Sure DOJ has actually skilled lawyers from the pre-trump era who far exceed ChatGPT’s minimal ability to ape being a real lawyer. Or at least DOJ _probably_ does. I don’t think they’ve _all_ been fired, driven out, or quit in disgust. Yet. ---

Someone should challenge Trump on that. Offer to give him a million dollars if he can draw a ‘perfect’ map of the Middle East. Hell, offer him a million dollars to label all the countries in the Middle East on a map. When I was a kid, my brothers and I “invented” the atomic BB. It had enough power to vaporize a squirrel if hit. Maybe that’s the weapon they need for this war. Some math now suggests that a BB-weight of fissionable material would yield 15-30 tons TNT-equivalent yield depending on conversion efficiency. And assuming, magically, that you could get something that far below critical mass to actually fission. So like a semi-trailer load of TNT. That’ll vaporize a lot more than just 1 squirrel. Good thing our experiments never proceeded past the thought stage. ---
