He’d previously claimed (without evidence) that he had a 44 point lead over his opponent in the primary. Jay Clayton, the nominee as Director of National Intelligence, appeared before the Senate Intelligence Committee today. Democratic senators asked him who won the 2020 presidential election, but he was unwilling just to say that Biden won. Instead, he waffled, saying that Biden was “certified” as the winner. Other administration officials and nominees have danced around that question similarly. ---

And the correct re-response from every member of the panel is “You just disqualified yourself from working for the Federal government in any capacity ever. Next!” It’s the panelists nodding and smiling politely as if this wasn’t important that is unacceptable cowardice. ---

I’m guessing that Kegsbreth thinks “Leroy Jenkins!” is an example of superior war fighting. There are undoubtedly times when it is the only choice, but (as an entirely unqualified commentator) it seems like they should be extremely rare, given competent leadership. So, I guess Trump’s Army will need a lot of T to make for the lack of IQ. ---
