I’m so glad to hear that the Department of Justice is so lacking in other crimes and issues to investigate that they can devote resources to a fifty-plus year old case. Crime must be at an all-time low. ---

And note this was the Department of Justice under Richard Nixon investigating his own administration. It speaks to how much more independent the DoJ was in those days compared to the Trump administration, where it just does the president’s bidding. ---

Absolutely it’s not the sole example of Nixon’s corruption. And yet Richard Nixon was a Boy Scout compared to the current White House occupant. ---

I just caught the end of a news spot on whatever rally the dunderhead just held. Oklahoma, maybe? One idjit was hypothesizing that “They” are keeping utility prices high to make said dunderhead look bad. The next fool totally parroted the worn out “Iran can not have a nuclear weapon” schtick. I could tell he was just copying ol’ dumbass because he didn’t say ‘nucyaler’. Ok, not new republican ideas but they sure are stupid. ---
