It’s a joke. Not mean to be taken too literally, like the Republican Party.
Funny thing is, there are some parts of the country that already remove naturally occurring fluoride from the water supply. It’s a bit too high for us. It’s how we figured out fluoridation in the first place - dental health was pretty good in areas with high natural fluoridation. But people don’t mention that.
Things are either good or bad. All or nothing. The idea that there could be a ‘right’ amount of anything is un-American nonsense!

Congressional Republicans have heard their constituents telling them to do something about Trump and Musk, and they’ve decided to take action.
By which I mean “stop meeting with their constituents altogether”.

Kristi Noem wants to require undocumented immigrants to register with the government.
To which the only appropriate response I can think of is “Or what, you’ll deport me?”
Perhaps the next proposal will be to have them wear some sort of yellow badge on their clothes so everyone knows who they are. Nobody’s thought of that before, right?

As Trump is selling citizenships, levying tariffs, freezing federal funds, [letting Elon] fire federal employees and doing who knows what else to get as much money as possible into federal bank accounts, I’m half expecting to wake up one of these days to see news that a significant amount of money has been transferred out of them and Trump disappeared to Russia.

The key phrase is “route to citizenship”. The $5M “Gold Card” is more like a deposit, and the actual price of citizenship will be determined at time of delivery.
