I think she realizes how stupid it looks to censure a 77-year-old man for shaking a cane, and is trying to make up an excuse to justify it. She even tried to use the “someone I know told me it’s a gun” line to distance herself from the accusation. It’s like the old “everyone is saying” bullshit card Trump hides behind for his own lies. ---
